Interesting! I also quite like Suzuna's character so far, she's really composed, barely a hint of confusion about being thrown into a game world, and she seems straightforward aswell, just straight up told Hinase that she was reincarnated lol

I mean, in shonen romance, especially shonen romance with multiple love interests, not putting the MC in the cover is pretty common since they are basically supposed to be a self insert for the reader.

Because that's how dating sims work. Their MCs are traditionally designed to allow as many people to self insert into them as possible, which usually means making them very flat and characterless. People wouldn't really want to play a dating sim where none of the girls liked the player character, though, as that wouldn't really be a dating sim at all. Put those both together and what you get is a bunch of girls falling in love with a guy who has nothing to fall in love with.
