If a manga presents a wimpy MC that does something terrible, suddenly everything is justified against him. Forget the guy that actually r*ped the girl; actually, forget the girl that actually r*ped the MC. No no no no, lets focus all our heat on the MC who, while deserving of said heat, doesn't deserve ALL of it (the grandpa is right there, hellooo?).

Like I get it you know? The MC is actually also a terrible person in this manga, and should definitely get some help. But wishing all the 9 hells on him is pretty stupid and some of yall make it seem like these types of MCs are as bad as nazi terrorists with how many times I've seen this happen.

Why don't we just say the sensible thing and condemn the grandpa, and send the mc and the childhood friend to therapy. Like a normal person?

In cases like this, the perp usually has the victim in a psychological chokehold. The rest of the family won't believe the victim because "how dare you say something like that about your grandfather", and the victim has usually been conditioned to think that she can't/won't be saved, and that she should just shut up and obey.
