On the wedding day the wife plays mind games during what could already be a stressful day testing him, involving her sisters who after 5 years still can't let him go and to top it off a honeymoon spent solving her family's problems instead of just enjoying their time together. Watching that OVA was a eye opener.

To me that sounds like hell, I don't understand why an author who is married himself would subject his characters to that.
