So here's my theory: with Yuu speculating on how all the Karins starting to act like Himeka, and with him speculating on them re-fusing once they became more like the original, maybe what's going to happen is we're not going to put them all back into one Karin during this next arc, but we're going to start merging some similar Karins into the ones we already have and the two new ones. Like, this might give us a meta-goal rather than ending it outright. Obviously, we can't just keep indefinitely adding more Karins as the story continues.

Considering we didnt even got 2 of the girls from the first chapter's cover
But they're all there? Short hair is obvious, ponytail is front and center, the middle one with the "mullet" or wolf cut or whatever is in front of Yuu, the last one on the side is Aika with a slightly different design.

Okay, a bunch of already filled seats being replaced with "Machihashi Karin" is actually a good bit of evidence for the "normal people are being transformed into Karin" theory that I mentioned in the comments of a previous chapter. You know, that one that upset a bunch of people.

Because, seriously, what happened to all their classmates if that's not the case? There's no way they all just happened to move out at the same time, and I really doubt that the charm has the power to just completely erase people from existence for the sake of this one wish.

And in the first place, the main issue people had with the replacement theory in the first place was that they thought it hurt the premise of the wish-granting, wasn't it? But now the alternative seems to be that their wish just killed an entire class of people, or at the very least radically altered their lives. Is that really a preferable outcome?
