All the comments mentioning the MC but honestly he's been fine to me. Its the FMC I'm wanting more from honestly.
She's kinda just there most of the time and barely reacts to anything, even by kuudere standards. Like the author might be building up to something with how high spec she is/tries to be (maybe in trying to emulate how the MC was before) and everyone having high standards for her which might have caused her to retreat into her shell of stoicness but until the author actually elaborates on that (honestly a chapter from her POV would go a long long way) its just speculation on my part.
However I will also note its only been 4 chapters so there is plenty of time for the story and character to build and develop.
I don't expect anything substantial on the FL until more than halfway through the series. Her remaining an enigma means she can be the unattainable perfect beauty in everyone (and the readers') minds, making the ML all flustered and antics-pilled the driving factor of the comedy and plot.
The moment you get any actual details on the FL and her POV, you might as well write the ending of the series where she falls for the ML and they get together and the story ends.
Up until that point, she's a blank canvas, and you can attribute whatever you want to her and she can embody it all, making her the perfect "insert my ideal waifu" magnet for the audience.
The ML just really came off strong in the first two chapters as this lazy has-been who fell into gaming and lost all his good points he had up until middle school. I had personally hoped there'd be more to him as chapters went on, and it would appear that is the case; though we've not seen him with actual friends yet to gauge his social standing in school....so.
He seems to be labeled the "creepy one" by the two girls sitting near him, but a one-off occurrence doesn't mean much in my mind.
So we will have to wait and see if he has friends, or how his class in general treats him compared to the FL.
