I feel like this would have been more effective if it had ended at an earlier point. The comedic life together at the end there kinda diminishes its impact.

Nah. While I get this, and it's what I would've expected, the fact that it didn't end like that makes it more memorable and fun to think about. This is partially due to Oneshot Sad Fatigue, but it's also a fun double-twist. We think this is a story about someone coming back to end his life out of guilt, only for the ghost to sacrifice herself and her wants to save him and have him move on, only for it to have actually been the start of a supernatural love story where the ghost tries to keep him alive even though he's ready to die and be with her.

I'd actually love to see that series, while the normal ending is an actual ending of the story.

I can't accept this ending for a oneshot. Wanted them to pass on together.

But guess it is series bait

I wonder, if this does get serialized I think that she will move on after she gives him the will to live, I dont think the author will kill them both, unless he live until he is an old man and then they live together but she is probably just going to pass on

This was nice. A touch sad and heartwarming. Having a ghost bodyguard for the home can't hurt either.

Thanks for the oneshot.
