Because these kinds of chapters are usually the calm before the storm in series like this. As the saying goes, when something is too good to be true, it usually is.
This is called "showing a family photo" because in the past, in war dramas, the character was guaranteed to be killed after showing the MC a photo of the remaining family at home.

NGL, since they were having so much happiness this chapter, when they seems to be waiting for so long, and it was so close to the end of chapter, I was scared shitless Aka will pull an Aka and Miyako's is not coming home anymore. :worry:

Here's hoping that this is the end of Serina-chan's induced coma and she is now recovered and gets to attend the wedding of Ai and the Dr. who adopt her as their child.

Aka already took the wincest from me. I don't want a bad ending added as well!

Why did they remove the romance aspect between these two? They are reincarnated people who are not related. But the worst part is they seemingly cut all the “adult personality” aspects.

We had 150 issues building up the relationship between the doctor and his patient. And then the fans revolted… so everything about it was removed and it became ridiculously generic

To be fair to Aqua, he doesn't have to pretend to not be an adult since he has once again reached adulthood and got almost all of his trauma resolved. Meanwhile, Ruby never got the chance to be an adult until now and thinks that everything is smooth sailing since she isn't aware of the last hanging thread responsible for Ai's death. Even if they were strangers before in the past, they are family now, so as long as they are alive, they don't have to worry about the other leaving their life. Which is obviously the biggest red flag everyone is now concerned for.

Welp, it was a nice run, fellas. Time for Ruby to follow in her mother's footsteps and get killed off right before Tokyo Dome.
