the movie was more about destroying him socially than getting him to jail, and the f*cker uses other people if not for Akane, Ruby would have shared her mom's destiny. That's why killing him in the end was neccesary, while the suicide was to not damage Ruby's image.

They just couldn't stick the landing, aqua's whole revenge thing that carried this whole manga was just not done well enough and everything after they found out about each other was not that good, and I swear if he reincarnates again that will be so stupid🤣Hopefully the next chapter can give us some satisfaction but sadly at one time this was one of my favorite manga coming out but they couldn't sustain its still a really good manga overall but it coulda been great
