It's so sad that Taiki is suicidal but only decided to keep living because Ruby is alive (which is very nice, as he is the only blood related family member of her who is still alive), he had always been seeking a family and when he finally got one, he lost it again, Dude was introduced in such a cool way just to be used as a gag character later on, he had such a great potential to be one of the key characters. Shame what happened to the manga.

He has the same eyes Aqua had after Ai's death.

Aka strongly wanted to carry out demage control of the final chapters in order to at least somehow justify it in the eyes of the fans, but in the end he only made new mistakes. I'm not talking about such lazy art or the fact that the headline again created false hope among people. Now we learn that Kana is married to a job, Akane is a necromancer, Miyako is a bad boss and a mother who only started doing something about protecting her loved ones and subordinates after the death of her son, and Taiki effectively in one line completely destroys the motivation and "logic" of the entire ending arc, directly stating that he is the opposite, will live for the sake of his sister instead of committing suicide and abandoning her. It seems live action also agrees with this, considering how they changed the emphasis in their finale.

Overall, I still want to love this work, but I can't help but feel disappointed and regretful about how much I've invested in it over the years. I don’t even know if they will change anything in the anime and whether it even makes sense for me to continue watching it.

To make things weirder, this page actually portrays him as Ruby's more mature and sensible brother, as he has the brains to not commit suicide and actually live for the people he cares about. It's unlikely that Aka realized it, but this is a huge "take that" towards Aqua.

So the final message is
"Suicidal is bad and your loved one will not be able to move on!"

Nope, nope nothing could save the entire last arc and ending
It just emphasizes how sad this ending is, nothing could make me change my opinion.

This is crazy, she hasn't given up even after his death. I'm feeling so sad for Akane, man. She needs to move on but I highly doubt she ever will.
Some people have suggested that this was written after the attempts to revive Aqua, but then it makes even less sense because it basically turns LN into another bait and switch and completely devalues buying/reading it because then the extra tells you the consequences of things already “a couple of minutes” after LN just started teasing it. So it's likely that Akane actually became even more obsessed. Unless you like the idea of Aka reaching a new peak of poor planning and writing even after the finale.

So the final message is

After the live action and Taiki's words, it was as if Aka himself signed that the ending was crap and Aka just wasted our time trying to justify it. But yes, Aqua's act actually romanticizes suicide as a radical solution to supposedly "unresolved" situations. Moreover, the way it was written seems to motivate suicidal people to break off all social contacts and rush through it without thinking about anything, because “don’t worry, your relatives will deal with it in time.”

It frustrates me more because, apparently, this was the actual "planned ending". Aqua was always meant to die leaving Ruby behind, that may imply that Taiki was simply introduced to take care of Ruby after Aqua's death, which if simply put, is so fucking stupid. It's just seems like Aqua left his mess behind so that others could clear it up and he would not have to face any consequences of his stupid action.

Honestly, I just don't trust this dude anymore. Because it’s simply difficult for me to imagine how, after such a gorgeous Kaguya and the first half of the manga itself, he could miss so many obvious plot holes and implications. But even so, the fact remains that even Aka admits that Aqua’s actions were wrong and the side characters turn out to be smarter than him, completely refuting the entire ending as such.

It just kills me that a manga that tries to idealize the inspiration and motivation of people in difficult periods of life, so much drives me into melancholy and depression itself.
