Are you tired? Of every kind of shit that life keeps throwing at you? Suicide is a viable solution. Your life doesn't matter. Leave everything behind. Don't worry about anyone you're leaving. You don't matter, it's all good.
Also, if you look in more detail, the last three chapters are one big immature fantasy in the style of “if I die, then you will all feel sorry for me and understand how valuable and important I was.” Also, all this literally stinks of the most problematic and toxic understanding of altruism, when self-sacrifice is understood as giving up one’s own life, interests, or even loved ones for the sake of other people. Even if they didn’t ask you for it and in the long run you will only traumatize them even more.

Is this some meta commentary on making manga? Dude pre announced his next work as well?

I don't even have emotions, this feels like a cancelled ending and I'm pretty sure this ended on Aka's terms. Ah well.
It feels like a bad or very controversial route in a visual novel, after which you have to go to the true route where everyone is happy. BUT IT'S NOT ASSUMED, CARL! This is literally one of the loops in Higurashi and ReZero, when the MC realizes that he can do better and resets the end again.

Can't even look forward to the anime anymore because I know everything amounts to a disappointment. I don't mind Aqua staying dead, but this just doesn't feel satisfying at all
Exactly. How can you look up for story, if you know, that almost everything that will happen between then and the end will be meaningless? I mean, there is always FIRE animation and art, but...

No magical macguffin ending so its nice Aka didn't pick easy option. I think this ending did well because it goes back to being what an idol means. That said the resolution feels a bit rushed since it just several wordless pages showing other characters conclusion.

Anyway if OnK ED1 tells the foreshadow Aqua's conclusion with him drowning, then OnK ED2 foreshadow Ruby's ending with her running and moving forward despite her sadness.

All in all not too bad, its a sad ending but its ties the theme well so I accept it.

This ending entertained me as much as seeing the isekai kids that attached themselves to this work expecting the harem power fantasy nonsense they are used to that are now mad over the predictable, and thematic, ending we got. bravo aka, you magnificent hack

i've seen a lot of people complaining about last chapter, but i still think last chapter are legit good

this chapter which are the ending though, it's an ending that doesn't give any closure at all despite being called ending other than Ruby ended up being a fucking bonafide good liar as entertainer just like her mother

WHAT. THE. FUCK. Aka
Lying doesn't make you a bad person though, it just makes you a liar. Ai was a liar and people hated her for it, but she was a good person motivated solely to make the world a better place for others and for her children. Ai also didn't understand how other people truly feel, and ended up being ignorant and naive in the world. Ruby has suffered more trauma and loss than Ai, and as such both utilizes her mother's ability to lie and also has real-world knowledge. She doesn't just follow in her family's footsteps, she takes them in stride

I kind of get your point, and I would say I liked the ending rather than hated it (still went from an 8 to a 7), but in the long run it feels weird as Aqua clearly knew what Ai represented was good but not healthy at all, and Ruby ended like her mom, while sacrificing himself for her so it feels like a nothing burger, like we got back to status quo, but on the other side as you said it ties back to the theme and choose to be darker.

yeah, when Aqua tells Ruby he is Goro, it would feel like nothing at all, while the readers were all joking about Alabama alarm hahaha.

and one of the worlds that crow girl shown to Aqua was one of the good ones hahaha or we get another one for the final volume.
