This setting was originally a one-shot for a gyaru yuri anthology manga ( https://mangadex.org/title/70e8aee2-e4a4-4dc2-bffc-059de13adf02/ ) which largely followed the plot of chapter 1, but ended with an actual interaction between the two. In that one-shot you get a small glimpse at her when she entered highschool, being a gloomy loner.
I assume the Pixiv series will touch on that eventually. Although currently it's on a (apparently brief) hiatus while the author deals with some real-life stuff.
