Tsukamoto is supposed to be unlikable, yeah. The volume 1 extras make that pretty clear. As opposed to Kaoru, who's outwardly a weirdo but actually a decent person, Tsukamoto is supposed to be outwardly a highly respectable honour student who's actually an elitist scumbag. But she's slowly becoming more normal all thanks to Kaoru's meddling, even if it makes her drift further and further away from Kaoru's ideal image of her.

Someone has not been following the evident sporratic nature of this story...

If you try to treat this like a typical story, then no duh its gonna seem trashy and odd in nature, these are not normal folk. The story has always been going in crazy directions, day 1.

Debatably, yes, the main couple should be a bit closer, but at the same time, this story has hardly followed a consistent pace, like... ever, this shouldnt be a shock.
