I have to say, I'm not surprised over what happened, she has serious issues. No amount of communication would solve them since her problem is with herself first and she understands them but cannot get over them. You can't help people who don't want it.

i get why he never really knows the appropriate distance to have considering how they started going together, i know he likes her like crazy but he might feel like if he doesnt match her kind of cool aloof pace she might get scared off somehow? my bet is that he wants to break up and try to start again on more even footing after the fight.

none of this shit in this chapter makes sense. just a bitch ass motherfucker of a male character.

Main couple is still in the same place since chap 8, Sawa confessed and that's it, progression ended there.
They had their (little to no) screen time and it led to nothing. I don't know why i'm still reading this...
It just looks like a fanfic from a high school girl, author doesn't even care anymore about the readers

Lest we forget, Shouma used to have a heated rivalry with Sawa early in this story. So I guess it makes sense that people thought he was hard to talk to because he didn't like dealing with the club his sworn rival was in. Getting Oota to fill that role isn't so necessary anymore since that animosity has died down, but it puts Oota in a good position to do something about his and Sawa's current relationship. Now please, do something...

Maybe he is, but I'm sure he can take it. He chose you and powered through, knowing he has to deal with all this. And thinking you've been inconsiderate is something that actually inconsiderate people never do. You're just putting yourself down too much.

Bruh, not like this. The implosion is so sudden and hit me like a bucket's worth of ice water. He went through hell and high water for the slim chance to win her love, and then he suddenly gives up like this? Maybe I overestimated his feelings for her. And Marika, please. I've been ignoring it for a while, but her insecurity about herself really were some of the cracks that ended up breaking this relationship.

So... a new arc about these two I guess? Some more serious romances do have couples getting back together after a fight. I mean, this is like their first serious fight after becoming a legit couple.

This is what comes to mind. Were they too successful that the author had to either pump the brakes or crash them because the other pair was still incapable of catching up? They overheated and need to cool their heads off.

How funny would it be though if they get back together and be in their second relationship before the "main" couple even gets to their first... or I guess that just rubs salt into the wounds of the other pairing. I'm kinda tempted to add the Drama tag to this now but nobody else seems to think it's needed so I won't.

I mean I agree with this drama and writing being not relatable at all and maybe even of poor quality but she poured her heart/true feelings out and he in response did the same and when she in some ways misunderstood and he tried to explain she full on blocks, going back to what he was on about pretty much.
Tldr how can u only complain and ultra shit on him when both are at fault?

cause he never took the relationship seriously because of some weird-ass perceived "kindness" on his part instead of just fucking talking to her and confirming her feelings if he was in doubt?? he fucking knows how outspoken she is. if she thought something's wrong, she would've TOLD HIM. they went out for weeks or even months and he still thought he's a fallback. like what the actual fuck!!

ppl don't go crying about shit forever! she was about to do some dumb shit immediately after she learned she's got no chance with sawa. and he prevented that. but she won't do that weeks and months after they started their relationship. any functioning human being recovers and moves on. and it's not that hard to pick up on things and realize that she stayed with him cause she wanted to. she even said she initiated everything whenever they got intimate. like he should've gotten a fucking clue. this is so sad, it's almost funny.

and he's not even trying to salvage this shitshow he's created. it wouldn't have been THAT hard to immediately follow up with saying he was insensitive and oblivious of how she felt and wants to do better if she gave him another chance since he seriously likes her. BUT NO, he stops then and there just saying he has no clue, which obviously upsets her and she starts questioning what the point of their relationship was if he was still stuck at the starting point weeks or months ago.
