This cliffhanger

There is a couple of things I'm confused about though. Mirei and current Kako share the same age while future Kako is older. Does this mean Mirei age changed or future them (Mirei and Kako) have an age difference? If it is that way it would make more sense for them to stay in the current and move forward with that. The other thing is that Mirei did say she hasn't had any contact with future Kako but how does she knows past Kako looked like? Medical records or am I just putting to much thought into it?


Anyways..... looking forward to next chapters maybe current Kako will be more driven and this will serve as a push. Maybe future Kako needs some help?
Very interested to see what's up with all of this.

It seems more like future Kako lost Mirai in some way, and she came back to have Kako prevent it from happening.

Also, it would be funny if she became a recurring character instead of a one-time thing, the jealousy is fun.
