As for the coloring, I got the raws straight from amazon, which is why I assumed that it was intentional, especially since the title page was unaffected.

Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. My god, it even has a watermark.

I was also wondering about the off-white thing, mainly because the only raws for this are digital (Amazon doesn't show the option to purchase a digital copy) and this looks digitally made, so the only two explanations are:

• the author sold this as a doujinshi and made the most bizarre combination of clean scanning, straight scanning and texture contamination scanning I've ever seen, or
• the author scanned one or more blank paper sheets and used that scan as background on the digital comic.

In fact having one chapter with weird artifacting and not having it on any other pages is far more likely to indicate that it was accidental for this chapter specifically rather than specifically intentional for this chapter specifically. And I already said that there was no need to change it- just that it likely wasn't intended.
