Not sure. In the extra chapter 4.5 she also has a Lazedog pencil case that she keeps smiling at when opening. Maybe she just likes that particular look.

Not to make light of a redrawer's job or anything, I know perfectly well it can be a lot of work that's not necessarily reasonable to expect from someone just doing this as a hobby, but honestly I would suggest to simply hit the S key in photoshop and lock in with figuring out how to best use the clone stamp tool.

If you want to improve yourself and get good results, I suppose you can use gen fill to get yourself a base to work with, but remind yourself that it's never going to do it correctly, and that those weird melty inconsistencies are going to remain there unless you do some good old manual labor.

Bit of a tangent, sorry. Again, not really trying to criticize here, I'm just not a fan of gen fills.

I like gen fill because it saves an awful lot of time, especially when working solo on something. I usually go through a chapter with IOPaint first, and then use content aware fill and conventional redrawing to fix it up afterwards.
Since my goal is making scanlations and not improving my redrawing skills, I'll make use of anything that'll save time.
