OUCH that flashback definitely justify why he hated all girls that try to coming onto him and why he guard up against Houjou so much at least their relationship is progressing now. I hope no forced drama between them in the future

This series is FAR from being mentally or emotionally complicated, and I am honestly baffled that some commenters still don't get why Youta is acting like that, if they are being genuine that is. There's also some guy telling Youta to "get over it".

Is there an epidemic of a lack of empathy? Are they just young, naive, and/or immature readers that have never been hurt before? Lack reading comprehension? Brainrot from Xwitter or Tiktok? Trolls? Is Solo Leveling their favorite series? All of the above? What the fuck is going on 😅

Every girl. EVERY. GIRL. That Youta has interacted with has used him to get to his brother. Except Houjou, but he doesn't know that she likes him yet unless she states it outright. He has NO reason to let his guard down with her.

They just don't understand.

I wonder if Rei know what the girls actually did to Youta and why he been insecure so much over the years from what we know so far he would he furious without a doubt I mean a fangirl that know the truth about Youta even feel terrible and try to save him from them in previous chapters

Looking back into their relationship and how youta feels about rei I doubt it rei would know, hell I doubt. Youta would tell him

I'm not tripping, am I? The author made Takamiya look like a stereotypical tomboy, prince, secretly-princess character right? Everytime he shows up I think "Who's this new cute girl?" then I look harder and it's just him. It's like he could star as a female lead in a different story with that look.
