See I like this. I like this a lot. Cause it's not just "Oh yeah we forgot to give her negative emotions and realistic worries to make her relatable we should probably do that" She's always felt like a person, just not one who's thoughts we were constantly aware of like most manga characters. Which is actually how people are to each other irl, so actually in us only knowing what Tohno perceives she now comes across as even more realistic of a character despite us only ever seeing what's on the surface and I feel like I just pointed out something incredibly obvious but whatever, it's cool, we know just as much about her as Tohno, it's like all the good parts of what self insert probably should be instead of a way for incels to form parasocial attachments to fictional women. I got off topic, point is I like this manga.
