I went digging a little in this series and I found several things:

1- I think we all know this an adapatation, the curious thing is that the Light Novel only has 2 volumes released in 2020 and that is it, it probably wasn't continued because of low sales and I can't really blame the readers lol

2- All the material used in the manga comes from the web novel that still gets updated, latest chapter for the web novel was released today in fact, but the manga deviates a little from the web novel.

Here is some info that I got from the web novel so far:

The main wives are as follows and that we all know:

1- Luna (Main wife).
2- Valerie.
3- Astrid.
4- Hilde.

Why Luna the main wife? The theory is that since she was the first heroine and the one that manages the household, she is the main wife.
Regarding Angelina, Mina's mom and Luna's mom, there is no mention in the web novel of them being confirmed romantic interests, however; the manga does not follow the source material 100% so we shall see what happens later on.

3- Regarding Luna's subtle hint in the last chapter, there is 0 confirmation that she is indeed pregnant in the web novel, the explanation is that since Luna is the main wife, Noir and Naomi tend to overprotect her.

4- There is no mention of Noir being a he or she in the manga but in the web novel it is mentioned as a she, quite interesting.

5- There is a whole theory of why all 4 of them are the wives that involves Reda's healing power but it is so convoluted that I won't try to explain it, just know that it involves Reda's power touching people's soul and leaving a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Considering the post above yours, I think their faces said about as much as a few paragraphs of text.

Also NGL, it's more surprising that the guards didn't do more to shut them up. Typically you would see judicious use of spear butts, clubs and maybe the odd whip. But here they just let them run their mouths.

Well, they're being dragged along as prisoners with literally nothing but the ropes that bind them. Let them be, and the passersby will know why they're arrested/detained. The public humiliation of it all is probably enough.

Except it's two or three guys in the cage that is causing most of the disturbance. And more importantly it is the criminal leadship telling their former lackies now prisoners outside the cage to grab weapons and free them. True it's so they can explore some ruins, but that's still could be seen as inciting a riot and revolt. Which in turn is a rather serious event when they out number you by a significant margin.

I'd almost think it's AI cleaning/upscaling messing with things improperly. Or like the artist is cheating and using some amount of AI aid for drawing/composition.

totally off, did you see the black haired woman hips at the beginning?

honestly at this point i don't remember almost anything of this manga, i'm not surprised if it has very low following

I use the same upscale chain for all my other mangas so in this case is just that the author is really lazy.

Probably because it's the soceitel norm.

I mean, if you go to a beach and see bunch of men & women in swimwear or even underwear.
Would you comment or react to that?
Why, because it's the norm of the beach.

Similarly, they might have the norm of completely stripping the convicts, so that the convicts can't hide anything on their body and try to use that to escape.

Also, why would a convict be allowed to own any form of asset, especially when it's highly like they might be executed.
