This feels kinda unsatisfying. Having some people just be really ill-fitted for a job, and learning that and changing career is a good plot, but it doesn't feel well handled here. Most people would become teachers BECAUSE they like kids or are very good at handling them etc, so it seems odd that the teacher would just give up.

I would have preferred if MC taught the teacher how to have an air of authority or orate or something.

Yeah the "Fake it until you make it" kind of thing, but the author went out of their way to say "I tried to act like her and failed anyway" so maybe it's a lost cause

Some people just aren't cut out for the career path they've chosen. You don't really have to stay committed to doing something when you don't like it, are separated from your loved ones, and also aren't paid well (she's a kindergarten teacher, they're earning peanuts).

I guess she really wasn't planning to become one. In the chapter she mentions that she just wants to run away from her hometown, and decided to get a "fairly easy" job with little requirements, and turns out she sucks at her job since she has no experience in it.

She moved to Tokyo, a high cost of living area, after having a fight with her parents and losing their support for a while. It feels like the author pointed those things out but thought a native reader would understand the pressure and lack of options in a glimpse, so he left it at that.

In the chapter, the teacher is both getting shit from her senpais and struggling with the children. No "follow these easy tips and lose 3000 lb" type of tips and tricks will work with her skillset. A good amount of mentoring could do the trick, but this isn't just about posture or eye contact or tone of voice, it's about improving just about everything about how she interacts with children. This isn't the sort of manga where the MC teaches some common sense shit to another character and they suddenly become competent and shoot laser beams out of their eyes, and I hope it never will be.

On the contrary, teachers are still necessary to instill information to students that the Internet and AI alone cannot do. Both implicit things (like morality and etiquette) and explicit things (like social sciences and grammar).
