Oh, I guess this is why the girl seems to like him. The goddess made some changes so he'd appear more attractive to her. I can't see it. Maybe he sparkles in her eyes? I think what the goddess was hinting at was that his open sleaziness is part of the change to make him more appealing to the girl. Sounds like she's secretly into creepy older men

So the girl and the MC imprinted qualities they either saw or wanted to see in the other? That is a really risky thing to do. Have to wonder if the goddess is mischievous, maybe downright malicious given the (apparent) lie about defeating the demon lord and given no time to get explanations to find the most useful skills. This could all just to be entertainment for a bored goddess.
That aside, we know nothing about the slave and the circumstances of both his enslavement or death. The party leader could have created a situation for him to be a slave just to be a meat shield. Given the slave's appearance, he looked like he already expected he was going to die soon. The girl is dumb for going off with them and it would not surprise me if MC finds her in a slave market where he'll end up buying her.
