What i liked so far in 2 chapters we have:

• IMO complex, realistic depiction of being different - in this case MC being a gloomy otaku. There are straight up bullies, that harass him just because he's an easy target. There's his father, who is just as bad as these bulles are - with a small hint of very twisted tough love and trying to straighten his son (as MC probably would have problems if he stayed in the city as a gloomy otaku, especially after taking over his father's job). Then we have the shopkeeper, who genuinely means well, but his actually solid advice probably sounds like a mockery to MC, because of the bullies and his father.
• MC, because he doesn't act like typical pathetic loser as much as many others (and this one would actually have a solid reason for that). Nicely written hopelessness of his situation/moving out as something that keeps him going forward.

I'm tentative on:

• Yandere - she's cute, but i'm afraid she's too one dimensional and will end in a loop of being witness to MC being abused > flirting with MC > solving his problems by murder > repeat. I hope i'm wrong, and we'll see her as a catalyst for MC to do something too.
• introduction of childhood friend at the end of chapter 2 - again, she's cute, but i seriously hope this will not become a romcom/love triangle situation. I'd like to see her maybe not as a love interest, but rather as someone providing bigger city worldview for example.
