People that ask for a poly-ending seems like they haven't read this manga at all, this manga is way too wholesome for that kind of ending, it will simply not happen.

They will probably have two chapters for a sleepover to strategize what this means, then Ichiji will push Amane to go talk to Seo since she already made things awkward and then Amane will actually talk to Seo and Ichiji will show up and then it gets resolved back to our current status quo with no progress and the manga continues as is...is my guess. I haven't checked the raws.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Now for the ending, as others mentioned so far during the series it has always been mentioned the three are the happiest when they are all together, and that would support an harem ending with Otaku kun dating both girl. But I can also see the possibility that jne if them becomes his girlfriend and the other stays as his platonic best friend, similar to what happened in

. In that case, I think Ijichi has the advantage since it would be easier to keep Anane around as an otaku partner.
I obviously don't even want to think of the possibility we'll get an open ending with no romantic resolution, but I'd accept separate routes.

I'm pretty sure, that with this kind of manga, the only reasonable endings are "and they lived happily ever after" with no clear winner or BokuBen type of ending, with two alternative realities, where Otaku is dating Ichiji and Amane separately. I also think trouple ending is unlikely, but OH BOY I WANNA FINALLY SEE AN AUTHOR WHO WON'T CHICKEN OUT AND JUST GOES FOR IT.
