They're not exactly  wrong unfortunately. Been plenty of stories where a woman makes something up about a guy and everyone immediately assumes he's guilty. Hell, there was one where a guy got sent to prison for, like, a decade or so because a girl falsely accused him of SA until eventually, I believe she finally admitted she made it up.

I've also seen videos where a girl can be harassing a guy repeatedly, even smacking him, and when he finally smacked her back, she drops to the ground, crying, and suddenly the guy gets swarmed by a bunch of other guys

He was accused of being South African? Why would he go to prison for that?

Their heights are always a bit weird in the manga. Sometimes Ijichi is taller than Seo, other times around the same height or a bit shorter but in the anime she's considerably shorter than him. Amane is the one always taller but in the anime, not by much. At least in the anime they were more consistent with that.

I think the main thing that skews it in the anime is that Seo is notably taller, meaning he has a bigger height lead on Ijichi and is closer to Amane. Also i think most the times that Ijichi is taller is when shes in heels, but it’s probably not completely consistent even factoring that in.
