The author is on record at least as recognizing people like both leading ladies and want him to end with both sincerely. That said, if you pay attention, the manga is constantly, if quietly/subtly, leaning in the direction of Amane as the endgame. Ijichi would likely become the 'fun aunt', or at absolute best Otaku-kun's 'downlow side girl that both parties are aware of and okay with due to legal/social issues preventing anything better'.

Yeah, I kind of see the signs there too for Amane being the endgame. I'm just hoping it stays the course, and not pull some poorly planned twist.

I guess they mostly seemed to dabble with manhwa. I checked the discord but could not find a channel for manga.

I read the raws. This is beautiful. Really cute. The progress is slow but its definitely there and so far so good

I searched the japanese name on google with a chapter number. Idk if I can share full links but here incase it works
Raw till 62
And also
Raws till 60

The website where they're till 60 has much better readability. But has a missing chapter and some incomplete chapters so if you read from there you should keep track which in chapter episode we are on for example this chapter (32) started with 136 and ended with 139.

I also used a chrome extension for this called Manga Translator which just made it a lot easier to read.

I dunno about that. There are some killer romance manga that could be adapted around the same time. How to Grill Our Love, Dungeon no Osananajimi, Tensei Akuma no Saikyou Yuusha Ikusei Keikaku, Now That We Draw, and A Cool Girl and a 12cm Promise give Ota-Gal a run for its money. Especially that first one. Not to mention other upcoming hits like Tsumiki.

Romance is going through a bit of a Renaissance right now. There are so many good romcoms on the market that even a great one fails to stand out. You have to be truly heads and shoulders above the rest to become the talk of the town these days.
