It's basically the same as watching anime on TV or waiting for the BD/DVD release. Most scanlators don't wait for tankoubon releases and translate things as soon as they are available on magazines or online sites. And then it's matter of whether they'll be willing to redo the whole thing into tankoubon version. Some do it, some don't at all and some will redo only specific pages or even just particular panels. We have to ask LonelyDarlingUwU, how far is willing to go.
