As much as we want to see them do it with him, I like that they're actually controlling themselves and being considerate of him. Relationships last longer that way.

He's not satisfying their needs, though, even if they try to be considerate of him. This relationship shouldn't last any longer than the previous one, where the dude apparently did the same mistake. Of course you could argue it wasn't a mistake, it was just incompatibility, but tragically in this new relationship the girls fell for him because he saved their lives. So, they will go to great lengths to try to please Hayato, but by the looks of it, he's only viewing things from his own point of view, minding his own principles, and doesn't really try to see theirs. Due to the astronomical debt of gratitude, Aina and Arisa can't easily leave him, but sooner or later he's going to make the relationship dysfunctional for them.

But then again, this is a brainless fanservice romcom, so nothing really matters.
