Speaking as one transfem enby, they absolutely are a lot of trouble. They're more useful for cupped bras with support for people with flatter chests, but they aren't as useful beyond such a situation.

They are great, temporary boobs while you want them then POP now you can lay flat on your stomach.

Its like using a wig for longer hair without all the hassle of constant maintence
