Why is Asuka actually so attracted to Kei when her ideal type of a man should be very different, based on her lines multiple times? She's not happy with Kei's personality and his actions. I reckon she likes his looks, but she would probably even sacrifice being able to eat his cooking if he was more manly in exchange (I'd dare to guess she doesn't consider being able to cook manly either). So, she's supposedly romantically interested in boy she doesn't see as a boy, apart from the looks. It's just weird.

@Kaarme because she doesn't like him, she isn't attracted to him. She LOVES him, and love is non-rational, it makes no sense, follows no rules follows no reasons, it just happens. And I'm sure she isn't unhappy with his personality nor with his actions. She's just in a slump because she's still encouraging him to follow his own path even if that's on the contrary direction from hers.

She's continuously mocking him for being a maiden boy and having a crossdressing job. I certainly take that as being unhappy with it. If she didn't love him, it wouldn't matter to her, but since he's her love interest, she ought to take it personally. If they started dating, in the worst case scenario she would be feel ashamed of having a boyfriend with such habits.
