There were introduced and used a few times in the first arc of the story. I suggest a reread if you're forgetting details since it's been a while.

Appraisal stones are accurate and if you keep using them you can acquire the appraisal skill/technique. But the skill version is inaccurate because it's based off "aura", usually mana around a person. Aria is hiding her true strength via controlling her mana as well as hiding herself with a cloak.

It hasn't been explained yet in the manga about her past, but basically she's sickly and will die young, so she wants to die on her own terms, and making a big splash while doing so.

I didn't think Aria would become an avenger just for the sake of "justice". For someone she wasn't even a friend with. Look like something remain of the "protagonist" personality.
Her "Hit Girl" level keep raising. She is becoming a pantyless ball of badassery.

Theory time:
This is something that i ended thinking about recently. We see that every kid she beat up end being attracted to her. Even those adventurers that she had to kill while pretending to be a cute mage all ended literally falling in love with her. But is not like she is a seductress, or had any seduction training. She don't even try.
So it came to my mind... could it be that this is her "heroine/protagonist" skill? She is basically the protagonist of an eroge for girls. What if she can make fall in love whatever guy she interact with cause she is the protagonist?
