Pacifism in Japan runs deep and strong, due to historical and societal reasons. Though it's not like the "never kill" rule would be unknown in the Western comics, either. Since this is a shounen series, it compares to all the traditional superhero comics in the West. It's quite rare for the heroes and heroines to purposefully kill their human opponents in those, though naturally exceptions exist. But they also exist in shounen manga.Thats a dud rounds, why would he use that? this is war, he have to kill whether he likes it or not.
well...me gramps said 3 years with the jap is a lot worse than 300yrs with the dutch, whatever that mean.Pacifism in Japan runs deep and strong, due to historical and societal reasons. For all intents and purposes, the WW2 Japanese could have been a different species compared to the modern Japanese.well...me gramps said 3 years with the jap is a lot worse than 300yrs with the dutch, whatever that mean.
Poor folish soul...It feel like their character arcs are drawing a bit too long, they should have an open-hearted talk about how they feel and make up, so then we can finally get to some romance!
