The art is good, this is definitely not one of the cheap ones, which is definitely a plus.
Still, the story only deserves 6 or 7 out of 10 points in my opinion. For example, making the setting a matriarchal system only to throw it away completely way too soon is an extremely douchy thing to do and there are other issues as well.
But the 6-7 out of 10 only hold true up to chapter 38 where it becomes clear that it's just going to be a nonsensically contrived mess from that point onwards. And sadly the following chapters kinda proved that impression right. Reading up to date (chapter 66) was a chore. My final rating would definitely be 4 or even below that.
The author shouldn't have tried to artificially extend and milk this story. Sometimes it really is better to end a story early before messing it up (even further).

Man, I still can’t believe how freaking good this manga is and has been for such a long time. The light novel author is incredible. And the mangaka is amazing for being able to keep up this quality. Yes, there have been more text heavy chapters recently, but it’s all setting up for the part II. And part II is just as good if not better than part I, which is the entirety of the manga up until this point.

I will be so excited to read this in like 10 years when I can do a deep dive straight read of parts I and II together.

but i'm glad it goes beyond volume 3 of the light novel after the manga ran for 7 years. and the new art looks nice.

What she has to go through is truly beautiful. And

This is hot garbage. I cant even say any character is likeable. The closest to this are side characters like the Queen or the fucking Team Rocket-esque Marie and her harem.

The MC is dogwater trash and not even entertaining, the heroines are BLAAAAAAAAAAAND holy hell milquetoast, and the plot is the one of the worst attempts at believable politics Ive ever seen.

Ahh man, our MC didn't even to enjoy the fruits of his labor, at least the author should've grown some balls and had him and his newlywedded wives have some sweet child-making love together before he leaves. Implied sex works even. But we can't have that satisfaction "yet".

And now we're gonna have to basically go through the Kanto arc all over again.
