So it's a reset ending with their feelings bleeding over to the world outside the loop, but without the full memories. At least it wasn't as bad as a "it was all a dream" type of cop-out ending, the sweet thing left is that a small spark of their romance survived to the end. Maybe it's for the best they don't remember, because that would kill any potential outside the loop romance.

Shame about the abrupt axing. Because of this they just somehow escaped the hellishly endless loop with no explanation to how, or why it even started. Or why it had to be them, or why she was trapped first and then he followed and nobody else did. A mountain of questions left unanswered. It wasn't the power of kisses, sex or love that saved them. It just... ended, after madness and degeneracy had completely taken over their lives.

I kinda wonder if it would've been better if their first time doing the deed from Ch. 26 actually ended the loop like what many were speculating. That would have tied in better to this mildly sweet ending, because the degeneracy that followed that scene seemed pointless to me otherwise.

To me, this had a really interesting premise that isn't done very often, and somehow this gets axed instead of the thousands of cookie-cutter formulaic stories out there. Real shame. But I'll take this mildly sweet ending after that depressing penultimate chapter. Gotta celebrate the small wins I guess, a battle won (happy end) for a war that was lost in the end (axed).

inb4 Tuesday is just the beginning of the next set of loops...

The sex made them endure the loop for a while longer, probably thousands of years, but as time went on they completely freaked out. Maybe she killed herself every time she woke up or simply got out of the loop before him. He went on to live a depraved and completely crazy life, having sex with several women and even his own sister and using drugs. A happy ending that could have been better written, but it was canceled. Chapter 26 still gives me a feeling of loneliness and insanity that no manga has ever given me. It would definitely be a 10/10.
