I won’t go into specifics but he never takes any leap of faith and baby-steps through everything. Opposite of daring. Most girls in Mahiru’s shoes would get turned off.

I actually agree with Amane’s actions but don't think he's giving the right reasons for them. Can't repeat the same mistake as Mahiru's parents!
But this isn't the best place to have this kind of discussion. If you're in the discord server there's even a whole thread about my thoughts on this xD
They're probably frustrated that Amane is waiting for Mahiru’s 18th birthday/to graduate high school before going all the way. Which I think is perfectly reasonable for someone like Amane who always weighs the pros and cons. Plus it's not like the LN is going slowly.
^ However, I’m not a big fan of having these discussions in the manga comments. If you would have any further questions regarding the LN, please ask on the discord server so as to not disturb anyone that is a manga only : D

bruh that just how gentleman should be. not just fuck and fun without thinking consequences. i thought there some issues but turn out just that. seem like people reading to much fuck and go manga/doujin. no wonder Nhen is shutdown
This is V2 "Mahiru is my closest friend and I have no impure thoughts" Amane. V3/4 "Oh, shit, I have nothing but impure thoughts and she'll hate me if I give any hint of it" Amane is... exhausting.

The LN is like 10 volumes in and still only at Christmas of their second year, a year and change from the beginning of V1. It's not the slowest, but it's not exactly zipping along, either. Which is fine for SoL.
