Funnily enough, the little devil Mahiru (yes, not succubus) visual references the final chapter of the vol. 5.5 special edition booklet of the light novel called

Spoiler: chapter title

"The Little Devil's Temptation"

. This means two things:
1. It will not be adapted into the anime. It is just a visual made for marketing (they made another little devil mahiru visual before season 1 aired)
2. It will be the final chapter of After the Rain.

Presuming the manga doesn't jump to 8.5 content.

The announcement for after the rain only mentioned it adapting vol. 5.5 and the vol. 5.5 special edition booklet (containing JP-exclusive bonus short stories from light novel vol. 1-5), but I would be very happy if they do end up adapting vol. 8.5 in some form as its one of my favorite volumes in the entire series ^^
