So IF they're both 16+ and they went to fill up the marriage registration form, does her parents have to approve or nah, it doesn't matter? since his would definitely support em in a heartbeat....

It's 18 now and no guardian approval necessary.

Additionally the woman CANNOT marry at 16 or 17 even WITH parental consent. It is strictly 18 for both sexes. This change occurred in April 2022 at the same that the age of majority was lowered from 20 to 18. (But not for drinking, just like in the US.) The provision that prohibited a woman from remarrying for 100 days (for paternity reasons) was also repeal.
