Woah! thank you for translating this- I really love reading authors notes, and I hadn't even really realized the age of the author when they wrote these series... take your time, Mori-sensei! the details are worth it.

Wow can’t believe Emma was Mori-sensei’s debut work. Her artstyle is so beautiful. Thanks for the update!

Kaoru Mori for international treasure! I did not know about a lot of these. I thought she went directly from English maids to Otoyomegatari. Do we know why updates have become so sparsely besides the new magazine?

Aww, That was nice.

Thanks for the update!

Haven't read that Daemon maid book yet. Gonna give it a go!

With the quality that the author does her work, I don’t mind another 10 years or how ever long she wants to do her series. Just... please don’t kill them off in a war... please.

"Isn't it nice that Amir's brother and wife match each other so well in their beliefs and also because they only think about horses" lmao

I didn't realise Shirley was self-published?? Dang!

The incredibly depressing thing about my brain is that I read the sentences "As an author I do not assume that everyone will be affected by a tragic situation, even with historical upheaval. All manner of events happen during one's lifetime, and in order to get through them, everyone shows strength in their own way. Therefore, I believe in living a meaningful life." and that little meat bastard in my skull just goes "she doesn't deny the possibility of some of them dying in the World Wars. A life as a widow/widower can still be meaningful" and that line of thought sucks.

Would be "funny" if someday her soul takes a bitter turn and she does an Anne of the Green Gables sequel for Emma.
Anne's author lived during The Great War and just after the war she published Rilla of Ingleside that's the chronological last book in the series and takes place during The Great War. Anne had a look of children and a few went to the war. You can imagine the rest.

I'd been wondering for a long time how Mori was going to insert maids into a story set in Central Asia, but she (technically) did it, the absolute mad lass.
(I guess there's still a chance she does it for real if we ever get to see Talas and Smith in England, but still)

Dang, I turn 30 today and I never realized how much of Mori-sensei's work has accompanied me all my life.
