Is there any way to know how this manga is faring in sales? Often I'm under the impression that something I believe is really popular may not really be so, especially in Japan.

In the week of November 18, 2024, Otoyomegatari vol 15 was the 5th best selling manga at Tsutaya bookstores (one of Japan's largest chains). See here: https://erzat.blog/tsutaya-weekly-manga-sales-ranking-november-18-november-24-2024/ - though it does not give absolute numbers. So the sales certainly weren't in the toilet.

Thank you, this gives me more hope it will soon find another publisher then, fingers crossed!

On another note, I really did not expect to see Shuumatsu no Walküre first, and Blue Period 11th... 🤨
