The word “equipment” refers to things conceptualized as stuff rather than as objects; it is not pluralized. In fact, while sometimes words referring to stuff are pluralized to reflect differences in variety, “equipment” is not pluralized even to do that much. To refer to more than one piece of equipment as multiple objects, use “pieces of equipment”.
