This manga is great surprisingly, from the art style to the story.

The beginning was bad, but once you start to see the actual direction the plot is going it gets intriguing. Problem is it's still kinda gross and none of the characters are especially likeable yet. Really can't decide if I'm going to follow this one or not.

You are wrong. zunta is the light novel illustrator and therefore the character designer. The manga artist is Mimi Mimizu.

Translator deleted their work for this manga about a month ago.

No it wasn’t. Those chapters were removed about a month prior to the recent DMCA strikes.

Rinko was the translator & scanlator that worked on chapters 8-15. Rinko was also the translator for “Hell’s Tormentor Kraken”. Rinko wanted to take a break, but some MangaDex users, who were fans of HTK, continually gave Rinko shit for slow uploads. Understandably, out of rage & spite, Rinko deleted all of their uploaded work, including chapters 8-15 for this very manga.

Not long ago someone reuploaded all of Rinko’s work on HTK, but in a very unfortunate twist of fate, HTK became a casualty of the DMCA strikes, from one Square-Enix.

So yeah, Ouritsu Majutsu Gakuin no Kachiku Koushi was unaffected by the DMCA strikes.
