The author is just trolling us in order to bully atsushi fans. He's showing us atsushi's final thoughts as the life drains out of him. One of his legs is literally bent the wrong way how could he jump in the air and kick someone's head off?
the next chapter is going to be atsushi staring up at the sky with his brain falling out of his head.

At least I have to hand it to the author.
After the last time I thought for sure the author wasn't going to surprise me with another come-from-behind victory for the kilihito underdog , after I thought for sure that there's no way Atsushi could come back from this...
