Well, my suspicions of palace fuckery are pretty much confirmed.

The king wants a proper heir to actually rule right and he sees Olivia as the only one who can be a proper queen to this country.

I don't think his personal feelings are involved either way. If bitchy whatshername can complete queens education and be like Olivia, good enough. If Cyrus marries Olivia, probably the best option right now. If Alan snaps out of his bullshit and gets back with Olivia, then that works too.

I won't say he's a good guy but seeing that he seems to put the welfare and future of his kingdom above everything else (without being stereotypical drama story evil) makes him an interesting character to me.

Maybe it was supposed to be Water? Waters is a last name that makes sense to me in this setting, and maybe either due to a mistake when they were naming the character, or because the extra 'su' would have been even more confusing that they dropped the s?

For what it's worth, I did realize this was a light novel adaptation, so I went to try and find a translation anyone else may have done of it, and they went with Wattle, but they also went with Bucks instead of Bax, which I personally feel is more like an actual name. Seems like it's just a case of almost English naming though.

To be honest, rather than their standard romanace (boy shows a girl who never been loved what it's like to be properly woed), Olivia's showcasing (doesn't feel like it yet tho even tho this chapter is supposed to be that :/ ) or even bitchy useless-ness and CP getting their deserved endings, I'm more interested in the King (and maybe... maybe the Queen too).
