Phew! Now we finally have the entire first volume translated! And it only took checks notes ...5 years! (12 years if we're counting since when it was first published in Japan).

So, this is the end of volume 1, but there are still some extra pages missing. I haven't really finished translating them, so next week it'll be that or chapter 6. I haven't decided yet, so it'll be a surprise both for you and me.

Also, if you wanna know, Hakubai is my favorite character in the whole series.

First of all, I have to apologize. I had friend point this out too. I'm terribly sorry for taking so long to fix this.

Now, this is not really a "mistranslation". Actually it would quite the opposite: my translation was way too literal, so it doesn't really make sense that they're changing topics so abruptly.

In the original dialogue, Michizane uses 君 (kimi) to specifically refer to Narihira, to which Narihira implies that he knew but didn't say anything out of consideration for everyone involved (though being Narihira, he could very probably be bluffing).

I changed it a little and hopefully the issue is fixed now. Thank you for pointing it out.
