they were both shitty. greed betrayed ashur the moment he saw the books value, before he even knew he'd been deceived, but ashur tricked greed into what he thought at the time was probably a massively detrimental and multiple months long wild goose chase on the infinitesimal off chance that he could give greed some garbage for his nearly life ruining troubles making ashur the richest man alive.
