because the Goddess Rebecca and the other gods of Asgard are actually enemies, Rebecca and Yatan make and then destroy the world each cycle while using the people as pawns to spread their influence. This is why dragons are seen as amazing and terrifying in OG; they're so powerful they survive each revision and remember the first world and its people who they were friendly to but after so many revisions, they stopped getting attached.

all the gods you see from here onwards Rebecca, yatan, zeratul. Are western gods and are actually enemies, they belong to their heaven named "Asgard". only one of them could be considered a kind god, Hexetia the blacksmith god. Initially Hexetia was a bad guy who made an agreement with Baal the 1st great demon from hell to destroy humanity because he was jealous from other western gods being worshiped by humans(npc/players) and that he was forgotten. Then Grid after a series of events he challenged Hexetia to a blacksmithing contest in Asgard,Grid loses but somehow manages to win in the eyes of hexetia due to his effort. There are other other "expelled"Gods in another continent yet unexplored by many players named "East Continent" . Zeratul the martial western God from Asgard ends up being a fake self proclaimed God, Chiyou is the real Martial God and he lives on the East Continent paradise, named "Hwan kingdom". Some of the gods from Hwan Kingdom are Chiyou, hanul (the counter part of Rebecca on the east), Sobeyol, Unsa,Pungsa,Usa.
