So then there WAS a bunch of stuff that happened after the undead graveyard when they skipped right to the mind control part with no warning or explanation. The pacing in this manga is really weird and it makes lots of bizarre jumps. Is this one of those reverse mangas where the anime came first? Maybe it's made with the assumption that you've already watched it, which I haven't?

@PyroclasticFlow both are, in the end, adaptations of the light novel so the are going to leave stuff out or shift some things around 🤷🏻‍♂️
