Well, to be fair, this one is an actual mythological creature that the creator decided to turn into an SCP.

Most of the time, SCPs just happen to be vague or unique entities that were given identities or backgrounds by their creators.

In this case, it was an already existing mythology, just given a slightly different background, hence why it appears to be less interesting in my opinion.
