Indeed. The original entry already had a cartoonish humor to it to begin with, which was contrasted with the idea that someone had to write a genuine, serious report about the silly transcripts and events. Making a cartoonish comic about a cartoonish scenario did made it fall a bit short.

For those familiar with the SCP series, the idea of a humanoid SCP being given not only a computer and video games, but open internet access and a budget of modern games, is absurd. Ditto a "voluntary" containment.

It's either really poor writing on the SCP author's part, or it's a hint that he's gotten influence on the Foundation that isn't outright spelled out.

I've been listening to some of Volgun's readings of SCPs on Youtube and this had to be one of my favorites. A bit sad it didn't have the part as to why they actually reclassify him as Keter, which is that he says he can just easily break out if he has to.
