The second volume will delve more deeply inside Hisashi's personal history and explore things from his perspective, in contrast to the more Takashi-focused first volume.
Their confrontation on the phone is one of my favorite moments, especially after so much build-up all thorought the chapters.

There’s a few details in this chapter I noticed in his chapter that I liked, like how Takashi and his dad saw the same father-and-son duo playing in the park (I wonder if his father recalled the same memory Takashi did…), Takashi and his dad both laughing in the same way (my brain keeps reading their laughs in the same way The Count from Sesame Street does lol), and how the dog notices Takashi’s dad before either Takashi or his wife does and starts trembling and looking in his direction…

I really like this development, very interested to read how it all goes down in volume 2. Thank you for the TL!
