I honestly i gotta stop reading these type of manga. There’s no reason for these male MCs to always be unassertive wet rags. My issue with this male MC is he doesn’t he seem to have strong desire and s pretty spineless, it doesn’t feel like any of his choices are made because of him more so it being the “right” thing to do. How he interacts with Fumi and Itsu is so cowardly to the point now I’m feeling bad for both of them.

I took a look at the estimated physical sales of the first two volumes based on the Shoseki Ranking data, and things aren’t looking great. Volume 1 was released on 2025/01/09 and only performed decently during its first week, peaking at rank 406 (Shoseki Ranking covers the top 500), which translates to an estimated 1,585 copies sold. Volume 2, released on 2025/03/08, didn’t even manage that — it didn’t chart in the weekly rankings, so there's no reliable estimate for its sales. (Sales estimates are only available when a manga appears on the weekly or monthly charts.)

The second volume did show a bit of activity on release day, hitting rank 282, and later reached 331 on 2025/03/12, but that’s about it. Unless digital sales are significantly better, it looks like Volume 3 might end up being the last.
